new owner of puppy

I have recently perchased a half long haired chawawa (didn't spell right but u get the thought) and half cavalier. She is 11wks old now and I love her totaly. But i have read in books that most of them have heart problems and now I'm worried she wont b with me long. Please let me know if my fears are unfounded. She is black and white and lively. Keeps me laughing. So far very energetic and loves her walks. Thank u very much.
